As with all our projects, preparation is key to successful decorating. That’s why, wherever you are in North London, West London or elsewhere, we always begin by checking for any cracks or holes.
Decorating can include plastering and re-skimming – removing any cracks and sealing surfaces once old wallpaper has been removed. Installing lighting or new doors, fitting skirting boards and building alcoves are also part of the service, if required.
We can replace ceilings if necessary, although some ceilings that look beyond repair can be fixed with overboarding. We make small holes in the ceiling to locate the wooden joists and then attaching new plasterboards to the joists.
Alternatively, if you want to replace an artex (textured finish) wall or ceiling, rather than the lengthy process involved in removing it, a simpler solution can be simply to apply a finishing coat of plaster over the top.
Our decorators can also make repairs after a leak or other accident, whether to ceilings or walls.
